Q: Can I View Products Prior To Purchase?

A: Unfortunately we are a online store only and don't currently have a bricks and mortar establishment. This may change in the future. However, please view our gallery pages as there are many examples of the products installed in a variety of building interior situations. Gallery

Q: What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

A: We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Dinners Club, PayPal & Apple Pay.

Q: Is it safe to shop at tydesigns.com.au?

Q: How Do I Place An Order For Products That Are Currently Out Of Stock?

A: Unfortunately, our online system does not currently support back ordering.

If you would like to be added to the back ordering list please e-mail us info@tydesigns.com.au

Once you have e-mailed us we can send through an invoice for payment, and we will ship your product as soon as it is received in stock. This will generally be a lot quicker than waiting for the website to be updated.

Q: Do you do gift cards?

A: Yes, we certainly do offer gift cards. Please e-mail us info@tydesigns.com.au to arrange for a gift card of any amount.

Q: What happens after I place an order online?

A: After you complete an order only, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details. After your order is processed, we will notify you when your order has been picked and shipped with the relevant tracking information.

Q: Can I change or cancel my order after I've placed my order?

A: If you wish to cancel or change your order after completing the payment process, please get in touch with our customer service team via email info@tydesigns.com.au

FAQ - Shipping / Returns



Q: Who do you use for shipping/deliveries?

A: We exclusively use "Sendle" for both our local and international needs. As a delivery company they checked all the items that were important to us:

- Comprehensive parcel tracking

- Signature on delivery

- Comprehensive coverage both locally and nationally

- 100% Carbon offset for all deliveries

Q: How can I track deliveries?

A: All our parcels get tracking included for free. You will automatically get tracking notifications by email for all stages of parcel's delivery. If for some reason you do not get e-mail notifications, you will be able to track the parcel via the tracking code sent to you in the "Your Order has been Sent" e-mail notification from us.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes, we are based in Brisbane, Australia - but we will ship anywhere!

We currently ship to over 220 countries and territories worldwide.

Its very important to note a couple of things if you require us to ship internationally.

  1. You the "buyer" are responsible for paying import fees when you receive an item, if applicable in your country. These fee's, if applicable,  are usually based on the item's price, postage weight, dimensions and country of origin, plus any taxes, duties and fees your country applies to imports.
  2. We cannot and will not send the electrical pendant cord with any international orders. 
  3. We cannot ship to your country if the UN has imposed a trade embargo and/or sanction

Q: What are your international shipping charges?

A: Our pricing for international devilries is $0. How can we afford not charge delivery fees, you ask? Well, because we cannot ship the product with an electrical pendant cord (they are only compatible in Australia) we reduce the cost of postage to nothing, everybody wins.

Q: If we purchase internationally, will you send a electrical pendant cord compliant with our country?

A: No, we cannot keep an electrical cord compatible with every countries electrical supply. We only stock Australian electrical pendant cords (240V).

We will however waive all postage fees

Q: What's the story with the 100% carbon neutral deliveries?

A: Spendle, our delivery agent, have partnered with The South Pole organisation to offset the carbon emissions on all pick-ups and deliveries worldwide.

Q: Who Do You Use To Take All Your Photographs For Your Website?

A: We are very fortunate to be local to Stuart C Photography. All our images across our website are courtesy of Stuart. If you would like to see what Stuart offers, please head over to his website. You won’t find another photographer who is as passionate, professional and diverse in his photographic abilities.

Q: How Do We Order Different Colours Of Your Lights That Are Not In Your Shop?

A: Due to the space constraints of our studio, we are unable to stock all the colours available [Hyperlink]. However, this doesn’t mean that if you would like to purchase a different colour that isn’t stocked that we can’t supply it. Q: How Do Your Lights Absorb Noise?

A: The fins for our products are made from a soft, recycled, 100% polyester which has been designed to reduce echo and reverberation. For full details, please check out our acoustic write-up.

Q: Do You Have Any Other Designs Available Besides The one.two?

A: We currently have two other collections in the pipeline to release this year. Please signup to our newsletter to receive sneak peaks and behind the scenes studio access.

Q: Can You Provide Some Details On The Optimal Spacing/Heights For Installation?

A: We can’t offer advice on specific mounting heights and/or spacings to set our lights apart. This is mainly due to the fact, that every space is different and presents a number of variables that will impact on the best mounting arrangement. We highly recommend assembling the lights and doing a dry run to work what best suits the space you are planning on installing the lights in. This might involve a few extra persons to be able to do, but in our experience, it's always best to be sure before you install.

Q: Can I Order Your Lights With A Longer Pendant Electrical Cord?

A:  Yes, however, we don’t offer this as an option online. Please e-mail us on info@tydesigns.com.au to arrange a length that suits your requirements.
